Entrepreneurship is both an Art and a Science. Hear from Prof Inderjit Singh Dhaliwal as he shares lessons learnt through his exciting journey as an entrepreneur. Dr Lin was formerly the head of USD 200 million government venture fund under the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA). Since 2014, he funded in more than 380 startups, accelerating more than 170 to series-A for scaling. This massive effort lifted the Singapore tech startup ecosystem from 17th rank to 10th within 2 years and become the vibrant startup nation everyone is enjoying now. Dr Lin is now the Deputy CEO of NTUitive, runs a multi-family office and is a Board Member and IC of several investment funds.

Our speakers from the mental health fraternity provide insights into this lesser-known area of importance and speak about how COVID-19 may have affected the mental health of people in Singapore. Dr Tan Hong Yee received his basic medical training at the National University of Singapore and subsequently pursued Psychiatry as his speciality.  Dr Tan is experienced in treating a wide variety of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders & grief, anxiety disorders, stress-related conditions, insomnia and psychological distress as a result of chronic health problems. He frequently utilizes psychotherapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside medications for the treatment of psychological distress. Dr Tan now practices in Mind Care Clinic at Farrer Park Medical Centre, in a setting designed for comfort and privacy. He believes in compassionate and individualized care for every patient.

In 2019, Singapore generated 7.23 million tonnes of waste, out of which 4.25 million tonnes were recycled. What are the social and economic impacts on us and our society? This panel discussion takes you through what the various sectors in Singapore are doing, and the individual efforts required to work towards our Zero Waste vision.

Through this role, she hopes to continue to empower people and organizations to relook at the concept of waste.

Sujay spent 6 years in wind energy related companies in midwestern US in supply chain and program management. Post-MBA, he spent 2 years in management consulting (energy practice) in the Middle East before moving to Singapore to work for top-tier solar panel manufacturer as the Head of Business Development. Sujay also has expertises in strategy, finance, operations. Prior to starting Canopy Power in 2016, he gained substantial experience in leading fast paced, multi-cultural teams.
